The buck limits and antler restrictions are not wanted here on private land.
The private land I hunt already has an 8pt min. And no does shot.

My lease is 3-on-one-side, does legal in archery, and does legal on doe days. For the first time in 5 years I got a doe tag. I would actually like to see a decrease in doe harvest on our lease

Just curious, how is that working out? Is that implented by club rules or the landowner?
I know we aren't Indiana so don't crucify me....
My friend in Indiana told me when they went to a 1 buck, 2 does per year, per tag (with more doe tags available for purchase) a few years back folks up there BITCHED and MOANED to no end. But then folks (lots of them) started killing Bigger and BIGGER bucks and they shut up quick. They still had a minimum of 3 deer in the freezer, and odds are they had a nice one on the wall. Something similar to this is what we need. Public land up there is ridiculous let alone the private land. I go every year and have shot some and seen some bruisers that didn't pan-out. The 3 biggest deer I've ever seen antler wise on the hoof were up there. 2 were fighting and one was waiting his turn. My friend never even got worked up. I've got a gorgeous Florida 12 on the wall that my dad killed and it's still in the Woods and Water every year and he acknowledges that it's a "nice" deer....LOL.
I'm over waiting for years for a permit to a hard to get WMA, sitting for the few days I have to see nothing but doe's that I can't shoot.
