Thursday was opening GG where I hunt, Sat in the middle of about a 60-70acre chop and saw 21 does. Came back the next morning and the loggers were moving trees and hauling them off, said "fuck it" and went back to the same stand. 1st deer came out of the woodline at about 6am and moved into a little oak thicket that I couldnt see through, about 30 mins later I look up behind the feeder and a rack buck was walking the edge of the chop. He moved behind another thicket before I could get him in the scope, came out 50 or so yards to the left. I followed his front leg up into his shoulder, bayed real loud and he stopped and turn back towards and I pulled and put it right in his chest. He donkey kicked real high and I didnt see him run off so I figured he layed up. Waited 30mins got down and walked over an he was originally a 6 and had broke his main beam at the browtine.
Way to go. :toast
