I shot him just west of Tallahassee on Monday afternoon. He was the only deer I saw all afternoon.

Congrats on the buck! Understand on the frustrating season. First year in a very long time that I didn't connect with a buck. Granted not because I didn't see any just didn't pull the trigger.
