and yesterday I ordered some sugar beet seed to add to my plots when I put them in....did a little research after seeing this site....wont hurt to try em....
A few months ago I was in Tractor Supply in Chiefland. I usually stop there on way back from camp. I was browsing the hunting aisle just killing time, and this guy walks up and starts telling me about the sugar beet crush. His (paraphrased) quote was..."I am not a gimmick guy, and don't really believe in most of the crap that is on the market. 99% of it is just to make a buck off of hunters. But I will tell you that sugar beet crush works". He said he put it out last season and had deer on camera that he had not been getting previously.
I bought a bag this past trip and mixed 1/2 of it in a gravity feeder I hung up. We'll see what shows up on camera. It smells very sweet. Sorta like a pie filling. I will probably have 20lb coons

Yep...but I gotta say after seeing this crush cam...its worth trying....like I say...Im going up to put in my plots in about two weeks and I ordered some sugar beet seeds just to try em out...never used before...but what the heck....they say the deer love em and they have something like +9% sugar content....gonna throw them in with my regular seed mix and see what happens......Im also gonna try this beet crush stuff. Their other product..."Buck Bran" gets rave reviews too....never tried it either but now I'm curious.
