Opening day 9pt at 20 yards . Loving the new Hoyt Carbon Element G3 . Got on stand at 6:30 and just as there was enough light . I heard noise in palmettos right under . Had a doe bedded at 15 feet . She fed around for an hour . At 8 , I picked up the grunt call , grunted twice and saw movement to my left . Doe at 60 yards . She fed closer to me . At 8:20 heard a deer coming from in front . I see a nose and a rack . Oh yeah , right at 20 yards . As soon as he turned , I drew back , put the 20 yard pin on him and squeezed trigger . Spitfire hit the mark , he took off and I heard him splash about 60 yards . Gave him 20 minutes , found the arrow covered in blood . I went straight to where I heard the crash . There he was . Thank You Lord . All the scouting paid off .

Congrats and that's a great looking bow by the way. We can always count on you to get the season started. We open next weekend and I can't wait.

Nice one!!! He looks like an 8/9 (i'd call it a 10 with that little bump on the above the right brow) Whatever he turns out to be, it sure looks like bacon wrapped backstrap is on the menu!
