i prefer a pump shotgun. have had alot of practice, I'm very quick with my pump gun. my mossberg 500, purchased in 1990, i don't have to pull the trigger after the first shot. just hold the trigger in, and slam the slide forward, will fire. has always done it. It is a Mil-spec shotgun, don't know if that is why.
i had a neighbor who had the dove hunt permits for Hilochee WMA. It was a lot of fun. Only shot a few each time. There werent a lot of birds
kicked up probably 100 doves on the hog hunt last night.

i dont think they make those anymore. i think ithaca had one like that too. i like my pump shotgun more that shooting and auto, i think its just cause i am more use to it, more comfortable. i have an 870 wingmaster, love it. shoots nice, and i can shoot all day with it.
i love my mossbergs. have 4 of them. my first 500 is the only one that will fire like that. i think remington had an 870 that would due that. mil spec also i believe.
