A light turnout so far at the polls. The Hillsborough Elections Office says as of 3 pm, only 6.26% of voters have voted. Complete coverage on 970 WFLA, and 970wfla.com, starting at 7 pm.
This is the kind of crap that makes me sick. 95 % of the population has no right to bittchhh about anything
Rainy day man, primaries always have low turnout.I'm sure a bunch will show up after work.
Low turnout = better for mccollum
McCollum is going to be looking for a new job come Nov. I fully expect to see Scott become our next Gov.
IF, and thats a big IF, Scott wins this primary, he will get destroyed by the dem Alex Sink. Ill make a friendly wager with anyone on here that Rick Scott will not be the next Governor of Fl
I am not so sure he'll win the primary that I'd bet money on it,but the Tea Party is a major movement in this country. Millions like me are sick of all life long polititions. This country needs some strong business minded leaders to get us out of this mess.
Jeff, I agree with you 100%. You know me and know where I stand politically. I hate incumbents and career politicians as much as I hate red bugs. I have never EVER said I care for McCollum. Matter of fact, he reminds me of a piece of driftwood. But, I personally trust Rick Scott less than Bill. Rick Scott has failed to prove to me throughout his entire campaign that he was indeed a successful business man. I watched 2 of the debates, and he claimed he won both of those. I saw him back pedaling and making excuses every time he was asked a question. To be truthful, I was actually leaning towards him till I watched the debates. I have actually emailed and called his campaign office multiple time to simply ask how he declared self proclaimed victory in the debates. I have been hung up on, not answered in emails, and banned from his facebook page. Personally, with his bashing of a campaign, I feel he hurt the republicans in general for the general election. I think Alex Sink will beat either one of them. And unfortunately, the democrats have proven they cannot straighten a garden hose, much less a state or country.
