Lets see...He had to deal with a looming recession and the start of the housing market decline left to him by the Clinton era, the worst terrorist attack dealt to this country in its history, 4 major hurricanes in 2 years that changed the building and insurance policies forever, a space shuttle disaster, and a major war on two fronts.....

Iluv2hunt, you are not alone. There a lot of us out here that have great respect for Mr. Bush and the way he did things. If we leave the politics out of the picture, we see how a true American reacted and that is why we have the tear in the eye and the lump in the throat when we review the happenings of 9/11. If we put politics back in the picture, I believe we are ready to get back to some common sense, some belt tightening and a return to the values that made this country great. SemperFi! Treefarmer

W. comes from good stock.(sr) with his military and CIA career. the apple evidently didn't fall far from the tree when it came to love of country. don't think he holds a candle to Daddy in the brain dept, but his heart is in the right place.
