well i might stand alone but i think. things need to change. it might not be the right way. but i think its time for every one to pay there share not just the little man.i am sick of hearing rep cryin about everything.but most of all that now they might have to pay alittle.paper wrote it right this mornin the bill that obama signed on tuesday is the federal goverments biggest attack on economic lnequuality since such lnequality began rising more than three decades ago.over most of that period government policy and market forces have been moving in tha same direction.both increasing lnequality.the pertax incomes of the wealthy have soared since the lat 1970s. while thier tax rates have fallen more than rates for middle class and poor...and what i am saying i will pay mine but you should pay yours too...

You realize that the richest 3% of people in the US already pay over 90% of the taxes received by the government annually? What more do you want from them? Whom do you think starts businesses, creating jobs? If you tax the hell out of them, they'll have less money to hire people and/or expand their business.

We do not need higher taxes, we need less government. If we have less government, their lazy azzes will spend less money.

The problem with the Obama supporters is that none of them look at the big picture, or look at anything beyond face value. The Dems just love the little bobble head who keeps chanting "Hope" and "Change". I'm sure you all have heard the phrase "Hope in one hand and :sheet in the other, see which one fills up faster." Most Obama supporters have no real idea what he wants to do politically, nor have any clue of the long-term implications as such thing as Obama putting on some green leggings and acting like Robin Hood to "redistribute the wealth."

I just ask that people stop reading newspapers and other biased media and research information to form their own opinion, rather than waiting to be spoon fed some silly propaganda by whatever your favorite news channel or paper is.

And they go overseas or outsource.

I simply cannot fathom how anyone thinks that expanding government is a good idea. It's easily one of the most corrupt and wasteful organizations in this country, it has rarely ever completed something on time or within budget.

If all of these people were running a failing business, would they feel the need to expand and make it even larger and harder to manage?

Are you really so delusional that you think this garbage bill was a good thing? I agree that health care needed some reform, but it is foolish to destroy a system that works for 85% of the people in order to get something for the other 15%. Only a liberal Democrat would think along those lines. And, they never approached Tort Reform or the tranferability of health insurance across state lines, both of which would have cut expenses immediately!

If this bill was so good, then take a minute and explain to me why they had to cut so many backroom deals? Why did the Democratic Party have to bribe its own members to go along with it? And, why has Congress exempted itself from having to participate in it? Shouldn't they have to use the same coverage as you or I? And, why isn't the majority of this bill going into effect until 2014? Not much of a pressing emergency if it can wait over 3 years before implementation. Funny how it goes into effect after the next Presidential election isn't it?

All the polls leading up to this vote clearly showed that almost 60% of the people were in opposition to the bill. Now, we don't live in a democracy, we live in a representational Republic. This means that the elected officials are tasked with representing their constituents and voting along the lines dictated by the people with their individual districts. Can you honestly tell me that our elected officials fulfilled that tasking? They are not supposed to vote along their personal beliefs, but rather along the beliefs and desires of the people that elected them. In this case, they have failed the people. And yet, you seem to think that's a good thing!
:oops

Sir Winston Churchill, the former British Prime Minister, is famous for several quotes. One of which states "A man that is not liberal at the age of 20 has no soul. But a man that is not conservative at the age of 40 has no brain".
:rockon

Margaret Thatcher was quoted as saying "The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money".
:toast

Ronald Reagan once said "It is that liberals don't know anything, but rather that they know so much that isn't true".
:rock_on

Out current government is treading on very dangerous grounds. If you can't see that then you're either blind or a fool. Which one is it?
