it was a dark and stormy night....
just kidding.
they said that they were on their way home from a double date, and they stopped in a church parking lot to talk. they were parked out near the churchs' old cemetary. they had their lights on for a bit, and turned them off when one of them saw something move. they turned the lights back on and they saw this large creature standing in the cemetary and it sat down as soon as the lights came on. so they were all a bit freaked out, although curious. so they watched as this thing stood back up and moved torwards them. again they turned the lights on and it sat back down. they did this several times until the creature made its way to the cemetary gates where it stood as tall as the arch of the gates. the girls were getting freaked out and my cousins husband wont admit though he probably was worried too, so they decided it was time to go. they say that as they were leaving the creature stepped over the 4' fence on the side of the gate like it was barely there and walked in to the parking lot and eventually across the highway to jefferson proving grounds, a military training facility that tests a lot of different things, like surface to air missiles and such. the father of one of the guys in the car said that that night his police scanner was going crazy with all kinds of reports in that area of chaos at the proving grounds . supposedly the fence at the proving grounds across from the church was tore up and it set off many alarms. a farmer in that area reported that some of his cows had been killed by something, something that did not eat them, just mutilated them. its a strange story and kind of unbelievable, but creepy when you have seen the landmarks and heard the conviction in the voices of my cousin and her husband while telling the story. also they said that in the cemetary there were bloodstains in the grass where the creature sat down each time.
