Coming over from the now-defunct Florida Fish and Hunt forum. I spent a lot of time there, it's nice to see some familiar "names" and the usual suspects here. I'm in South Florida and spend what time I can hiking, hunting and fishing with my family and friends.

Ok tired of feeling like a troll ... Figured an intro was due. I love hunting & grew up fishing fresh & salt. I'm from Palm Beach but living Broward. Love BC , Central Fl, Ocala, try to get up to NY to hunt with the family...what else... I 'm into diving/ spear fishing also. Unfortunately I don't get endless weekends to scout & hunt as hard as I'd like, but I appreciate every minute in the thick stuff. Public hunting has been pretty tough, I gotta say my hat goes off to guys like Down4dacount & lots of others who get it done because there is nothing easy about Florida ( S. FL ) hunting. Trying to develop more success on a small acreage in Ocala that I've been given permission on; the bears are a real presence though. My quotas this year (did pretty good I think) are: Dupuis 2ndarch, prairie lakes muzz, & OK gen gun. Plus I need to fit in Ocala & hopefully western NY if the stars align just right. :archer
