Welcome fellow Texan!
I am from the San Antonio/ Bandera/McAllen areas, moved to FL in 2000, this will be my first year hunting more than dove and quail. Seems we have smaller game here and certainly less mass and size in antlers, hogs are much smaller, fewer dove a quail and no javelina ..but hey you gotta enjoy what you do have and not worry what others do have in game.
