Welcome,,,seems like alot of us originated from Indiana to include myself. I am pretty much in the same boat as you, trying to get into the ins and outs of hunting and fishing Florida. Being from Indiana I really don't consider deer as small game,,,,lol,,,squirrels maybe but I have seen some big squirrels too..I will be in town for a spell here shortly,,,we will hook up,,,I am right down the road in Deland.

I'm from Boston and found this a really friendly site! You can bet things are different down here! I'm still trying to figure out Florida's 'quota system', etc. Even though Florida deer are smaller than up north, they still aren't 'small game'! LOL!
