Hey Guys, not sure if anyone has seen this but I thought it would be a cool thing to do. Most of us probably toss the deer hide with the guts but this looks like a good way to benefit someone with it.

Do you hunt? - $1 (Hillsborough)

Do You hunt, Deer, Turkey,Fox, Racoon or Alligator?
We need your Skin!

It is Tribal tradition as respect for the Earth and the Animal, to never waist any part of the animal!
If you have just recently been hunting, and throw away the skin from the animal, donate it to a Native american Tribe.
With your help, Our Creek, Seminole, Hitchiti Tribes can continue their Native Traditions & Honor the Animal, by not throwing away the skin.

We educate native children in their ancestral ways, and provide Cloths to needy Families.
Your support can help the Native people, continue in the ways of Old, and you can truly create a Positive, where some deem negative.

We will pick up in the Hillsborough County area.
Skins accepted:

Turkey feathers
Deer Hide
Cow Hide
Fox
Racoon
Even Alligator

They just need to hang out at the check station. Skin them for you Other wise my skin is full of hand holes. i also find it easy to just split the skin down the center of the back.

I sold a few coon pelts while in college and the buyers asked that they be skinned by making one cut up one leg and down the other, around the genitals/anus, along the "inseam" then turned inside out and peeled off, so the majority of the pelt is intact. not sure if this is still the preferred method.
