Starts monday. Anyone ever do it with out traps? I remember when I was a kid we use to flip rocks by the seawall at fortdesoto. Anyone of good areas that may have decent numbers?

Really? I always thought that they were in 30-40 feet...would love to try and catch them in closer. I'd be willing to make my 5 allowed traps

I just buy a bag of the floaters from the fish house in Steinhatchee. Can't wait till they get them in

We use to snorkel off the beach in Englewood, in about 15-20 feet of water, and catch a few. That was back in the mid-80's, when I was skinny and could stay under water longer than 20 seconds!
