special treat @ mullet spot

So I went to my mullet spot around sunset and got a nice suprize.
I get ready to throw my net look down and there is a manatee looking up at me. never seen one there before. I was in clearwater right by sunset point on fort harrison

Cows of the sea 😆 Flagler brought them here from the west indies to feed the railroad workers in the keys.

They can get annoying when fishing on the flats. It never fails you will get on a school of reds, get anchored up on them on a hot bite, and one of those fat blobs comes by and bumps your fish off
Personally I hate them

If you ever want to see them up close, go to the power plant in ruskin to the observatory in the winter. They stack in there by the dozens
