i had the worst day Saturday well i guess if i was just fishing it would have been good. We got a couple snook trout flounder jacks and only one redfish. There were 24 boats that entered and there was only about 12 or 13 bouts that weighed in fish and out of them only about 5 or 6 boats that got two fish. So I guess we didnt do two bad because there was about ten to fifteen boats that didnt weigh in but are sponsors expect us to win a couple. oh ya and we also had the smallest fish weighed in needless to say I heve been beating myself up all weekend.

better luck next time. tourney fishing isn't easy. you can do well and have a good day fishing, and catch lots of fish, but the ones that count just wont cooperate.

Musta been bad tides this weekend. A good friend of mine, who usually does well, struggled to find fish Saturday

That's why I quit doing much "competitive" stuff, like fishing, skeet, combat course or golf tourneys. Seems I can perform well or catch good fish during practice leading up to the event, but come crunch time I don't do worth a damn!

So now I just do the things I love for the love of doing them! I might compete one-on-one or with a group of friends, but organized tourneys and such just don't appeal any more.
