snapper are still biting good in the mouth of the bay out on the piers and stuff. went snook fishing the other night and the snapper were destroying the ballyhoo. so i quit snook fishing and caught a few mangroves. kept using the ballyhoo, smaller bite sized ones were doing well. shrimp and white bait were also working, but there has been so many ballyhoo out at the piers lately that they have been workin out good. now while im out on a pier snook fishing, ill also be rigged up for snapper while they are still hot.
Never turndown a good snapper bite.
a blast on light tackle, a challenge to dig out from under the piers. some of them were nice and fat. ill probably try it out tonight. have to go to my cousins kids b-day party in a bit. son had his first soccer game today, what a trip that was. his team won 12-6. its his first year in indoor soccer, first sport he has participated in. good stuff.
They still will be there later.
