Down that way I'd try the ATlantic or the Gulf of Mexico. There pretty big spots, hard to miss.

Boynton Inlet, in Boynton Beach used to be pretty good. Especially at night. This time of year, the cuts down around Islamorada are pretty good, especially if the "worm" spawn is on. It usually happens this time of year, but I haven't heard anything about it this year. There's also a spot on bay side near Grassy Key that's pretty good too with room enough to pop up a little tent to get out of the skeeters and still be able to fish. Monroe county sheriff doesn't allow any camping tho, so you need to make sure you have a lantern lit and a line in the water at all times if you go in the tent "to get out of the skeeters and sand flies" or, like me, to take a little nap. Just don't snore.
