i dont know all there names, i know one of them is named tosh or something like that. they always had hogs in there back yard too, that they had caught.
Don't call me crazy but they are very tasty. They serve them in a soup at a virtnamese resturant by my house. They make fish balls out of them... Very yummy, try it.
In the late 70s I lived in a small community near Pensacola. Of the 24 or 25 families there 22 or 23 of them were Cajun. Theres only 2 things on earth they refused to eat, Amberjack and ladyfish. I developed this theory that if a Cajun wont eat something noone should 😀

The alternate theory is just because a Cajun eats it doesn't mean you should! 😆
I read that there was a market for ladyfish in Asia, as someone mentioned they make fish cakes out of them. After spending time in Korea, I know what kind of fish cakes they are talking about, and it ain't what you get in a Filet-O-Fish from Mickey D's. Those Asian fish cakes are entirely different. Over there, if it comes up in the net, they find a way to eat it. My wife is Korean, and she's been known to eat frozen cigar minnows that were meant to be bait!
I hate messing with bony fish, so I think I'll leave the ladyfish for the Asians to eat, or to use for cut bait!
Hey, I have ate my bait before. 🙄 I wasn't going to let all them there scerimp go to waist. 😆
