I have never even jumped a poon, oneday I hope I will have that chance. Darn a 40 incher, that is a hog. My biggest is 36 inches caught at 4th street on a skitter walk... I don't have a boat, my best friend does. It's an east cape canoe - gladesmen - http://www.eastcapecanoes.com/ .
I'd love to meet up with some new peeps, there is always knowledge to be gained!

Where abouts in St. Pete? Coffee pot area? I can find the snook and trout there but have not been able to get on the reds. When I was a young lad I would find them schooling all the time in coffee pot. Not so much now...
