OK heres what i got for all the saltwater anglers.
First report. Sarasota/Palmetto area:
The snook are hanging out about 50 yards from the beachline. If you can fine a dock next to a beach line they are in there..
The reds are also somewhat mixing in around the docks.
The trout are all over the place anywhere theres a sand hole.
The Jacks are tearing up the area by any rock piles or structure. They are big and fun to reel in..
That day i was in a boat using white live bait.
Second Report. Saint Pete Area
Snook are on the rocks by the seawalls
Grouper are on the rocks waiting to ambush
The trout are also alittle past the rock piles into the somewhat deeper water
The Jacks are all over the place about 20 feet from seawalls beyond view.
This day i fished from land off a seawall incoming tide to high. Live shrimp free lined
That jack my son caught... for some reason all the jacks we caught were so full of energy that they just were bleeding bad from the hook but they were all fine and went back and swam away very fast..
Looks like a happy boy there. 😀
yea finally got him to reel in the fish,, and take the bit shrimp off the hook and grab a new shrimp. he dont put the shrimp on the hook yet cause he gets scared when it starts jumping around.. but he came a long way today.. He actually was bugging me to fish.. and i promised him yesterday but i got caught up in an estimate in tampa palms and never got around to it.. so right after school today i took him.
Nice report.......your son is hooked on fishing!
Great job
u look so pissed.
