BIggest fish you ever cought from land.

small 30lbs jewfish caught it in the powerplant. and almost had a tarpon out at the dunedin casway last year. it would have been the biggest but it broke off at the wall 🙁

Probably the 40" snook I caught on the beach in Engelwood the day after I caught the 38 incher in the pic below (me on right, dad on left, back around 1982 or '83):

ill see if i can dig up my biggest snook. i caught it probably 10 or 11 years ago. first night of the first season on the west coast when you could only keep one fish per day and it could not be any bigger than 34 inches. as soon as it broke the surface of the water i knew i had to throw her back. ill dig it out and scan it and post it asap.
