Inner tube with a piece of plywood will keep a cooler and a case of beer afloat, just anchor it up with a mushroom anchor.

I used a kids inflatable raft they work great but mine gave way to too many patches!

You will find a bunch of people that will hook up and wet a line with you.

Some people are like Slinkies ... not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.
