rackman any color that has been better I have been buying them up from one of my suppliers here so I have plenty!

For me the molting color but I always try and match the hatch. If I am strictly fishing the flats then I go with a dark color and for pot holes and such you can't go wrong with a white. I will have to give "new penny" a try. I bet any color would actually work with that stink the gulps produce....

I was down in the glades a few years back anchored up on a mangrove island. When te tide quit the fish quit(Mangrove snapper). We were fishing live shrimp. I put on a gulp and the grovers were nailing them and would not touch the shrimp. I was sold on them after that

Yea its gotta be the smell, reds are mostely scent feeders. Ive had good luck with the newpenny shrimp and White swim mullets
