7.1 miles west of the DeFuniak Springs airport traffic light on US 90. Do you know about the new truck stop at exit 70, Mossy Head?
I'll see if I can post a photo. I'm kind of computer illiterate but my eight year old grand-son can do it.
If you need protection from wild hogs in Luarel Hill give me a call. Freezer is getting low.

Haha, yeah my grandkids are better on these things than me too. I've yet to see a hog up at Laurel Hill. I know they're up there or at least used to be but a couple of years back a fella put a hog trap on the back of the property near a stream and I think he trapped them all out! I've actually only heard them though camping. There's a lot of coyotes though. They have a party with the gut piles we dump.
I haven't seen the new truck stop. I'll check it out on the way up. I stopped at a big one in Texas last year that had all kinds of hunting and camping gear. It was like a Walmart! Man there was tons of people in there too getting fast food and just shopping. What a zoo! Made my head spin but I did see a cool bird plucker that was just a 5 gallon bucket with a water jet attachment (1/2" PVC fittings). I took some pictures of it because I can make that sucker too! It was called the Wild Game Washer.
Well I finally had a moment to grab the tape measure and and a pencil to start drafting up some plans for my project. I also went on the Home Depot website and priced what I'll need to build it as well as a folding truck mat for the bed. Looks like the total cost will be around $152.00 if my calculations are correct. That's still cheaper than buying just a truck mat. I plan on using indoor/outdoor carpet to cover both of them. I took some photos of my drawings in case anyone wanted some ideas.
Went to HD today and picked up the supplies I needed to get started. I ordered the 3-way pvc elbows and two piano hinges from Amazon because they were a LOT cheaper. I'll get started on both projects tomorrow.
Ok, finally got out this morning to start on the cot frame. It went together easy enough but I really had to measure good for some of the cuts. I only cut one piece wrong so I consider it a success. I was able to use it in another spot so it wasn't wasted. once I get the decking cut and carpeted I'll post up a cut list and how-to so others can follow if they want to.
