I know I need some type of snake protection, I am just having a hard time deciding on what. My 3 options are snake boots, chaps, or gaiters. Let me know what ya'll use and why. Thanks!
I don't have anything that I use, though I wouldn't mind getting something for next summer. Just don't have the extra cash this go-round.
I just bought a pair of gaiters because I couldn't find any boots that fit me. I guess they're ok but they sure are hot.
I figured they'd be hot, especially during the summer when you need them most.
If you buy snake boots, you are gonna have wet feet. Thats just the bottom line, they all leak. Period. If you wear gaiters or chaps they are gonna be hot. Period. Thats just the stuff we have to deal with hunting in FL in early season.You can get a good pair of Muck Boots and a set of gaiters for the same price you would pay for a decent set of snake boots
