Well said Dave. I wear mine religiously. And the way my luck is going lately, I need to wear one while on the ground too :clown :crip

Going to have to make you a suit out of bubble wrap.

well i tested the stand and harness today. both work great the harness was easy to put on. I will allways wear it because I am terrified of heights. the biggest problem I had was I felt like I was leaning foward in the stand. I think I just need to make the straps that go around the tree tighter.

Back in the day, we wore safety belts that were nothing more than a strap that went around your stomach, then tethered to the tree. We would actually set them where you could stand up in the stand and lean into it, having the strap support you so you could lean forward and shoot. This was usually in conjunction with a homemade wooden ladder stand. Its a wonder we all didn't break our necks

so which one did you end up with? practice and learn to trust it and you will feel more comfortable. I used to stand at the very edge of the platform with the tether tightened so you could lean over the edge to about a 45 degree angle and flap my arms like a bird to develop trust, but then I'm a crazy mofo.
