don't know about all the scope vs. iron sights on a lever action. shoot them leverevolutions from hornady and you will be putting a scope on a lever gun. :rambo :rambo

Got a scope on my lever gun and absolutely love the way its set up. 50MM set on 3 power is much faster than iron sights, IMHO

I've always had a scope on my lever actions with see thru sites.

picked this marlin MXLR 308 cal up 2 weeks ago from a buddy for 500 bucks.leupold VXll with shoot thru mounts.gun was only shot 10 times.had to take pics with cam phone,dog ate digital camera :hammer :death long story
