We have a moultrie D40 and the time and date never works right. has anyone had this problem? the camera is year old.

I have one that will not keep correct date

some of them do that.. its a known problem.

Good post, I'm in the market for a camera. I know now not to buy Moultrie.

In my business, I bend the rules all the time to make the customer happy. I even give new product out without getting the old one back (and note it in the computer so that customer doesn't try it again...if it was a scam). The only thing that does....is make them trust me more and buy other things from me. My customers know that they'll never get stuck with something they don't like or something that didn't work for them. Don't know why companies don't care about customers anymore. It's our own fault (customers as a whole), we expect bad service these days and put up with it.

im not saying dont buy moultrie.. dont get me wrong.. the d40 is one of the best cameras for the money. just do as i said and you will be ok if it gets messed up!
