First we got to find out why your barre is rusting so fast and easy. I never had that problem with my Remingtons, i have with Marlin,Winchester and even my Savage never any of the Rems. I've had really good luck with them accuracy wise and smooth actions as well, call Remington and talk to them get a tech on the line.
Heres a question do you store your rifle in a soft case? If you do they are know to draw and hold moisture which will cause the problem if she lives in a safe check the other guns and see if you are having the same problem if so get something for the moisture cabelas sells good stuff comes in a can that covrs 55 sqft.
we can camo anything you want but we need to find the cause of the problem and cure it first to prevent blemishes in the finsh and any lifting thru.

Hes got one of those wally world guns with that cheap spray on finish, I got one too and had the same problem till I started putting car wax on the dang thing.

Deet I got to agree with ILuvTo that shit eats up everything I leave that stuff on my skin to long and it starts to get hot. Call Remington anyways there might be a problem with the finish. There are products out there that will remove what you see and it will have to be done before we can do anything else but its cool we will take care of it.
Because it came from Wally World doesnt make it a cheap gun there is 3 differant types of SPS 1 700 SPS standard which is what you own from the looks 2 700SPS varmint upgrade on finish and trigger and shorter barrel 3 700SPS Tactical which is what I use 20" heavy bull barrel x marl pro trigger ( which in my opion blows away savages accutrigger) the finish is black oxide bead blasted and then pakarized the barrel is also cryo, now not to piss you off but that rifle with all the bells and whistles only cost me 540.00 and its a tack driver. I told you about it over at his place and you had already bought the one you have, but water under the bridge we cantake care of that the important part is that its a tack driver.

what the hells a tack driver? i think i paid like 499 for mine. out the door with ammo and shouldersrtap and parts 580 i think.
