Gun paint project

Been working on this for the last few afternoons. This is one of my Ml's. Started by taking off forearm and disassembling barrel, and taping up all the metal. I washed it in dish soap to get all the oils off.
Then it is just a matter of spray painting it. I am using Krylon Fusion camo.

Base coat of Khaki

I used some resurrection fern for the pattern.

I am applying several coats of clear/flat acrylic. Probably gonna do at least 10 coats. Ill post pics of the final piece when done. Hopefully tomorrow
