I was selected to field test this product and here is my review of it for any bowhunters potentually interested in this product.

The Firenock is different from other lighted knocks that I've used because you have to assemble it. I do like that because you can use the weight in the nock when practicing and not risk breaking one of the circuit. I haven't hit one of the nocks with another arrow yet but I would imagine you can just swap out the nock and the circuit would still work(unlike other lighted nocks that I have used. One thing that I didn't like was the of the 3 end caps that I recieved there were 2 different designs. 1 had the 2 grooves like the directions showed and the other 2 only have 1 groove. When inserting the 2 end caps with one groove the O-ring broke. I emailed the company and they told me that the end caps were just from different batches and as long as they are the same color they were the correct size and that I had installed them incorrectly. I purchased another pack of o-rings $2 for 7 o-rings wasn't bad but the $5 for standard shipping was ridiculous when a $0.45 stamp would have covered the postage. When I reinstalled the end caps again the o-rings broke again. So I'm pretty sure they changed the design of the end cap and still used the old ones until they were gone instead of tossing them out.

For the price of the firenock and everything else you have to but for it to fuction properly it would cost you at least $68 dollars. I could buy twice as many of a similar product. Not to mention receiving 2 end caps the broke the o-rings.

I just build my own using the push/pull bobber lights. Costs about $3 to make two of them

I have made an attempt to make my own, they didn't hold together very well. Have enough to try it again a few more times. I will have to watch the how to video again. I was in a hurry and probably drilled the knock out too much.
