I wear a Hunter Safety System harness and do not get in a stand without it on. Period
My wife and son depend on me to come home every weekend. A little extra time here and there to climb with it on is the least I can do for them.

No wife, no kid, no harness. I probably should start waring one. Just such a pain in the azz. I need to invest in a nice one so it not such a pain to put on.

i usually hunt out of a tripod or ladder stand or from the ground. i dont have a harness, so in the rare occasion i do get in a climber, i dont wear one. looking at it like allan, i probably should.

Actually John, if you invest in the hunter safety system it is easy as pie to wear. It goes on like a vest and has seat belt buckles. Takes 2 seconds to put on and the rope just wraps around the tree and you snap to it. very simple
best $100 you can spend
I climb between 30-40 feet. If I fell from there it would be ugly
