Have an API and a Tree Lounge. The tree lounge is the most comfortable stand on the market and you can easily stay in it all day and all night long. It is a heavy son of a gun though. It is a great stand for hunting with a gun IMHO. The advantage of the API is it's half the weight of the Tree Lounge but not half as comfortable...

To each his own, but that cable aint gonna break.

I use my climber(s) alot. I have 2 Summit's and use mine a lot more than the average guy. I tend to wear the heat shrink wrap out on mine.

I bought a spool of the heat shrink and re-do my own. Also what I do is put a layer of camo duct tape on the back of the cable, and around each of the bolts on the cable to prolong its life

One thing that is worth every penny is to get an add on foot rest. it takes the pressure off the backs of your legs

now mine weren't climbers but T-screw strap ons and I tried the armrests and foot rest, and they did make it more comfy but harder and more dangerous to get in and out of so ended up removing them.
