ive seen them do it with krylon.. the main thing is prep.. but anything cheaper then duracoat will chip and peel off.. the duracoat burns it self to the gun.. something like that.. im seriously ocd.. and if i did that and got a chip i would be touching it up all the time.. cant deal with that.. id just go duracoat.

that army paint sticks pretty good.. once again if prepped right.

Navy, and we had krylon spray cans, so did the army and marines. back in the early 90's. the first go around.
