you can keep the same caliber with a heavier barrel and wood laminate stock, also heavier, after market recoil pad and recoil will feel much better.can't have it both ways, if you want a light wt gun make it a smaller caliber or be willing to deal with the recoil. rugers stainless med wt bbl and lami stock is a good option.
