Looking to buy a semi-auto shotgun. I have been wanting to buy one but never really had the need for one. Going to give duck hunting a good try so I am looking for a semi-auto. I would like to keep my cost at or under $500. So that leaves me with a Mossberg 930, Remington 1187, or a Stoeger, but any and all will be considered if it is in my budget. If you have one with a 28" barrel I would be interested in seeing some pics. Thanks!

the 1187's are great but getting one in good condition for that price may take a while. the Stoeger which has an uncanny resemblance to the benelli super black eagle, with an inertia system (is simple/strong, it kicks a bit more than gas systems, but runs very clean, uber reliable & fast) that I favor and a good camo finish would be my choice, for that price.

There is a shop in bradenton that frequently has rem 1100's in 12g for that price range. I have seen them as low as $350. They are not mint, however I doubt you want/neex mint for duck huntng. Red Barn Gun Shop. I will check in there tomorrow for you.
