From what I see online I paid too much for it,but I can make payments on it for "10" years whatever that means and I can do work for it.But since I didn't put out the cash my wife is happy. If i had the cash I definitely would have paid alot less.

make him wait every minute of those 10 yrs for the balance. that shoulda been no more than 200 for a good friend and 250$ for a stranger. a gun shop wouldn't have offered him more than 150$

for 450$ you could but new in stainless, or awfull close. up to 25 yds the sp101 is very accurate. hit a balloon with it at 200 yds after about 25 shots. and a hell of alot easier to carry. nothing wrong with single actions but imo I think you'd be happier with a double action revolver ( in stainless for fl humidity ) with no more than a 4" barrell , but thats just m.o.

My wife agreed to pay him $5 a month. any one know what the price of it new. I am sure it was made in '73
