with some range time and several types of shot 00-no4 buck to see what works best in it it would be fine for up close hogs and deer in my opinion, anyone else?
I've heard that side-by-sides are not the best for slugs because of the way the barrels are aligned, but never actually used one with slugs. Great bird gun, though. My uncle had an old Italian-made side-by-side 12ga that just seemed to come up to your shoulder like it was part of your body, and the kick seemed about half what my Rem 870 Wingmaster gives. There was something about sighting between the barrels as you followed the bird that made it feel instinctive.
i prefer over and unders.. but most old timers prefer the side by side.
Sold my last one it had a full/xfull and I loved it, killed deer duck geese turkey other birds and hogs just fine.
with no recoil pad i bet she kicks like a mule. looks like its worth 200
