I'm not going to get into the price, just would like to say that that sized scope FOR ME is just about as good as it gets for realistic hunting out to 200 yds easy and 300 with practice/a good rest and good shooting. overall the scope is not too big and won't look silly on a small gun, the low end 1.5 power with a 42mm objective lens should have a great field of view and let in plenty of light for dawn and dusk shooting, and just the ticket for close/fast moving game. the 6 x power should be plenty power for hunting, it will be steadier for offhand shots than a larger power level. granted when shooting from a bench with a solid rest at a stationary target a higher power level is nice to have, but for realistic hunting situations especialy here in the east a 6 x should be fine for an upper limit for deer/hog sized game. that scope would work well on a lot of different guns, kinda surprized your getting rid of it. I think it would be perfect for your muzzle loader, or a 308 carbine length.
Nacho, the reason I am selling it is because I want to get all Swarovski scopes. But sine everyone is a downing it I might just walk out side and throw it off the dock....
throw it into my lap.. thanks!
all swarovsky,NICE. IF i HAD YOUR MONEY I'd burn mine. my old hunting buddy finaly broke down and put one on his old ruger 308 ultralight (scope cost about 5x what the gun did) and bagged a monster 10 pt buck of his lifetime. ( at 20 yds LOL ) someday I'll have a long range german /swede glass scope app 6x18 I think and build a rifle to go around it.
You can have my money, but you have to take all the other BS with it....
