seeing as your'e left handed and like the 270 cal, that gun would serve you very well and you could get a very good price for the 270 right handed ruger you already have. the benelli is good also if you want to use 3 1/2" shells, I'm not sure if you have a shotgun allready with a 3 1/2" chamber or not and extra bbl's for benelli's are not cheap if you want a shorter one for turkey/deer/hog.

I have the Nova and the 3 1/2 turkey loads kick your ass! So do 3" 00 buck. The super is a great gun. the xtra barrels on a benelli cost almost as much as a new gun. The chokes are expensive too, and I put a limbsaver on mine, the super has a high tech shock asorbing stock.

I got my beneli sbe years before the comfort tech stock and the benelli "police" won't sell me one lol. and yes they do kick harder than gas operated shotguns but the simplicity and durability are worth it IMO.

I find that there is really no need for a 3 1/2 round, I don't know what came over me buying them, I have the crio chokes too, talk about reaching out and taking geese or turkeys!
