Yes you can get a takedown at R.K., a stainless with fiber optic sight will cost more like 350-400$. they also have plain janes for app 230$? The takedown comes with a small case that will hold everything you could possibly need (5- 25 round mags, scope, spare ammo, the gun) and float if dropped overboard. NO I didn't test it out.

Just me but I always prefer blue and walnut....old school I guess....but thanks for the info.....I wonder if they would trade 3 for 1....on a plain jane model...gonna take off that Sweet .22 scope from the Winchester so just need the rifle....
and by the way....let me know how the float test goes.....
