People just need to do their homework. There are more leases openings this summer than I have ever seen. Now that it is 2 weeks from bow season you can get in a lease cheap.
All the timber companies like Rayonier and Plum Creek are begging for people. The guy we lease from has 1/3 of his property open
I guarantee you within 5 minutes of research you can have a minimum of 5 places to call that has openings.
Hell, there is that many on Craigslist, alone
don't think he wants to spend any $$$ on a lease. I think thats why he said he has a few connections with manufactures ??? Trade deal IDK got me.

Georgia and Florida ended some of their reciprocal agreements, and some license fees went up. My dad is 71, so he hasn't had to buy a license in FL or GA since he turned 65. But this year he'll have to buy one in GA, because if you're from out of state it doesn't matter how old you are. Licenses will cost him about $295 this year.
