CrOck1, The Jubilee Ford was made in '53, so it is at least a year newer than an 8-N plus it has a live PTO that makes bushhogging a lot easier (won't run you into the fence or a tree as the bushhog finally quites turning like the old 8-N's do). I believe the Jubilee engine has a little more horsepower and it is an OHV where the 8-N is a flat head. Both are good old tractors and with the right implements can make a food plot or a vegetable garden a lot more pleasurable. A larger tractor maybe 40hp., can do more work in less time with the same equipment than the smaller tractors and some time they are cheaper because the 8-N's are so popular. Just some food for thought. Treefarmer
you can get an over run coupler for your PTO.. I have one on my TO-30 and it works great
Ok info on the tractor with pics please!
My father in law may want to part with his old jubilee will check
Did you find out. Thx!
we have an old 8n in the family. not sure if it is for sale or not, it has been in the family since about 1970 r so. it needs a few parts and pieces, probly just a carb and battery to get it running. dont know how much youd be willing to pay, r if your willing to come to tampa and get. i imagine dad wouldnt let it go for less than 1000.
For us guys with older tractors... here is a GREAT place to get replacement parts http://www.ytmag.com/parts/
