I have a question...
I have a 12 year old son I need to shop for, for Christmas on a very limited budget.
The last time I took him to an army surplus store in north georgia, he was like a kid in a candy shop. Camelbacks for $8, ammo storage $4, tons of great stuff at low prices. Maybe that is because it was true SURPLUS used stuff.
The only army surplus store I can find sells new army mock-up for really high prices in Gainesville.
I live in north florida, but travel as far south as Orlando. Can you recommend a good army surplus store?

These guys used to have a store in Middleburg that we'd hit after eating lunch at the Mexican place next door. Friendly folks and they had whatever we were scrounging for. I've never been to their big store in JAX but the old man behind the counter always said they had lots more than what was at the Middleburg location. It closed up a while back but I guess the big store is still running.

Good, old fashioned Army navy stores are hard to find now.

Same thing with the place here in Slowcala avoid Jerrys pawn gun shop and there nearby Army/Navy place
cheaper to find it online and pay shipping than to give them chumps any $$$

went to a dollar store for a B-day card and didn't see much for a dollar. going the way of the five and dime stores or penny candy if you remember them.
