now lift it! and ill be double more jelous than i am now lol. ill be getting a new truck here in june or july and i was looking for a f150
got a 2000 f250 crew cab. like it. only get 10mpg though lol not good on gas but got a 4:10 rearend in it what size camper?
the big thing I am finding, have a 4.6 f150 2006, is when it comes time to change the spark plugs. I have been reading some horror stories and people threatening a class action suit. Ford acknowledges the problem but offers no help. The plugs break off. The dealerships are charging 800-1100 dollars if they start running into that problem. just google f150 spark plugs and it should bring up . There is a special tool, $70.00 on EBay, and some of the mechanics are putting some type of lubricant in the plug well 24 hours before they actually pull the plug. got me thinking about when to trade mine in. FYI
Yeah my mechanic said they are a nightmare to change. Matter of fact he did mention when I want to have it done I'll need to leave truck over night
friend was driving his 99 f250 he has it jacked up some and he heard some noise pulled over nd his spark plug blew out. he got a guy in lake wales to fix it. but it stripped it just threw it out. ive heard several people say they have the problem but usually after u hit over 100,000 miles. thats from what i hear i havent had the problem but then i havent got 100,000 yet.
