Can we apply during phase II if we received one during phase I??

No.The page with guidance on applying says if you got awarded one in phase 1, you cant apply or something to that effect. I'm on my phone or else I'd link to the page for you.

Yeah, it does suck and is another part of the FWC BS and this on-line drawings horse shit. I got my first pic, but this is the first time in 4 years I got a hog quota.

Last year went with TCR to Buck Lake which has a 50 person quota per day plus 50 guests, 100 person quota per day total and the two of us were 2 of 13 hunters that signed in for the day....

Talk about a broken system.....

And now the system won't even let me apply for a second quota since I already have one? With any luck all of our NON-ANTI Hunter friends will get the rest of the quotas left so us hunters don't kill poor Miss piggy and with any luck a pack or even a single hog will get into every FL peta members yard and root the shit out of it.

That is exactly the reason why Mr Lolo put out the word and we as hunters can mobilize and get as many permits as possible. Tell friends, help them apply if they can't, etc, etc....

Well the only thing I got was actually an accident. I filled out mine while driving on my phone I got green swamp dog hunt. Unfortunately my pug isn't fully trained to bay any hogs yet. Maybe I'll find someone to go with or I'll try to turn it back in

Spoke with FWC there is nothing in the regulations that state I can't hunt without a dog. So being as it's the only thing I got awarded I'm hunting it.

PoChop you are correct, you CAN hunt. I've done it before, once accidentally and the next year by choice.
Here are the issues that can sometimes arise.

- People think they can hunt and all the dogs will drive game out and flush it for you. As someone who has taken a dog quota for that reason I can assure you it isn't so...
- Some dog hunters could take offense to you killing a hog that ran in front of you after their dog chased for half an hour.
- Some dog hunters could take offense to your accidentally killing their dark brindle cut when it runs out from under a palmetto.
- Whether you like dog hunting or not, it's a valid practice and you have to admit that they have less places to do it than we do, and you took a slot that a guy with dogs missed out on.

Wanna build up good will with hunters AND have some fun? Ask around til you find a dog hunter who didn't get a quota and bring him as your guest.

X2. I like this idea. I have never hunted behind anything but rabbit dogs (beagals) before when I was young, I would really like a chance to hunt with some hog dogs, this seems like a great opportunity.
