A close friend has some spray (deet) and sprays on his boots and pant bottoms to keep ticks from jumping on him....I would think it would smell, but found two on me in the shower after a three hour scouting trip and i DID NOT use the spray.
I have a baby at home and would hate to transfer to him....
What do you all do ?

Permanone.
It is sold in the camping section in Wal Mart. It is a permethrin chemical, which is derived from natural elements. Once it is applied and dries it is odorless. Just don't spray it on your skin

deet is a chemical in repelant. i got osme stuff that is 99 percent deet. on the label it says if you put on to much you can over dose and poison yourself.. lol. most off is like 20 percent deet i think.
