Well, looked for the doe again last night. No luck. I bet she's up in a tree someplace. Hey, maybe she's in my stand!
Nope! Not in the stand. I just checked. I have no idea where she is, but it's frustrating knowin I hit her good and still can't find her.
had a damn armadillo feeding (making all tons of noise) around me for a couple of hours, kept coming back and forth. Im sitting there "ahh sheet theres a deer...ahh sheet its got horns!" its workin its away around the pond towards me, starts getting about 50-60 yards out and starts hearing the armadillo and gets nervous. ends up turning around and feeding away from me into the thick stuff. turned out to be a little 6pt. About an hour later had a doe feed by me at about 70 yards into the thick stuff. No shots :no
o i coulda blasted him easy at 50 yards with a rifle. cake shot :rockon
